Mission
To bring illustrated children's literature of high quality to kids of every language, culture and economic condition.
About OwLira
We believe a good story crosses borders. We craft children's literature with art, narration and typographic care.
OwLira is born from the desire to deliver high-quality children’s literature in every language of childhood. We are an umbrella publisher: we shelter independent collections with voices of their own, yet united by a common editorial standard - careful illustration, professional narration and typography designed for early readers.
Our editorial structure brings together teams of authors, illustrators, editors and audio producers in different countries. Every volume we release goes through an artisan cycle: research, script, art, narration, layout and multilingual checking. The result has to fit in the lap of any family, in any language.
We believe that multilingualism and accessibility walk side by side. That is why we offer free audio for every book, distribute through as many physical and digital shops as possible, and keep special licenses for schools and libraries that wish to adopt our titles.
