Synopsis

Elisha was the disciple of Elijah, and he asked for only one thing when his master was taken up to heaven: a double portion of the spirit that was in him. With that spirit, Elisha multiplied the oil of a poor widow, raised the son of a Shunammite woman, and healed Naaman, a foreign general, of leprosy with a simple instruction: to wash seven times in the Jordan River.
